He conquered my fears, sometimes I wonder why

Taking in lessons as they come into perspective
Ignorance is sin, patience leads to progression
GOD is my compass, CHRIST my direction
Good things take time so I write to perfection
Counting down the days hours seconds
Till hard work pays off, all my songs memorized
Put me on the spot I spit em on a dime
Sandcastle walls etched with my old rhymes
But they collapsed on a weak foundation
Waves crashed washed away all my old dream chasing
Now my faith is my reality, they say its fake like im bouta break to insanity
Please dont confuse the unseen for a fantasy, asking me how can it be
Well, when your caught up in the day to day
Whats most important tends to fade away
And all them bad habits stay the same
So many ashamed to say that they need a change of ways
Or at least a change of pace
Not saying I'm perfect but hey it worked for me
Was it all Christ? well, most certainly
New heart new soul no surgery
New found strength in me like hercules
So forget building up these sandcastles
Cause Gods Kingdom is ample
